August Noth (1909-2001), director/conductor of many years of the department of staff switching and recruiting for the Swiss  Hotelier association (SHV), at that time with central seat in Basel, created 1967 the Employment agency Hotelia as the SHV changed its seat to Berne. 

Since 50 years we place successfully hotel & restaurant staff for Hotels and Restaurants in whole Switzerland.

Our members, hotels & restaurants in the whole country, receive regularly our "week bulletin", (approx. 4-5 sides, each Friday by post, fax or. email). This always contains a number of offers of staff, with short description their CV and the adress with phone number, who looks for an employment by our switching.

FOR THE APPLICANTS THE SWITCHING IS FREE!!! (Swiss, German, Austrian, Frenchman, Italian,, etc. like also students from all countries).

The Hotels/Restaurants (only members) can themselves contact directly the applicants and engage them immediately. Our bulletin contains all personal data like short personal record, description of reference and the address specifications of the place-looking for.

  To increase additionally in more of the weekly bulletin to get the personnel wished completely surely, we offer to our members possibility of free advertisements for their free places on our page of Internet under the column "Wanted" (direct-job).
